New start — scout movement in the Salvation Army in Russia
On February 15-17, a historic event took place in the Salvation Army in Russia. From these dates began our national scout movement of the Salvation Army!
3 days of intensive training, 22 times the scout's promise hase been said: to fulfill your duty to God and the Motherland, help your neighbor and live according to the laws of the scouts, and the 22 scout leaders are ready to return to their corps and begin service with children and teenagers.
They have all the tools in their hands: they are trained in the scout method, planning scout meetings, they are given materials for work, as well as examples of documents necessary for working with children.
Parents can be calm trusting their children to our scout leaders. We are waiting for a new generation of self-confident individuals who love God, their country, people and nature!
